The Caribbean Condo is a landmark 7-story art deco structure preserved and restored, accompanied by a newer, 18-story contemporary glass tower, built in 2008 and connected to the historic building when the property was converted to condo use by the architect Kobi Karp.

With 104 units total, the project’s interiors were created by famous interior designer Christopher Ciccone, who also happens to be Madonna’s brother. One of the property’s highlights is its oceanfront location and its impressive outdoor spaces, which include a sumptuous, multilevel oceanfront pool deck with lush tropical landscaping, a heated pool and oversized spa, direct beach access, and sun decks. The building provides chaise lounges, daybeds, and private cabanas, from which to enjoy the infinity-edge pool and water lounge.

Inside, enjoy such luxurious amenities as the fitness center, billiard lounge, one business center, wine vault with dedicated storage for each resident, and walk-in cigar humidor with secure storage for each residence. Of course, the property also offers valet, concierge, and security, as well as private storage for each residence, and bicycle storage.

Units in both the new and old buildings offer laundry rooms, 9-foot ceilings, impact-resistant glass throughout, generous walk-in closets, terraces, and views of the ocean and Miami Beach skyline. Units in the new building have larger, wrap-around terraces that span almost the entire circumference of each unit.

Located in one of the most exciting and up-and-coming areas of Miami Beach, the Caribbean was a true pioneer when the building was completed and opened. Since then, it has been followed by such extraordinary luminaries as the Faena Hotel, with its various outstanding restaurants, Soho Beach House, a private member’s club with its restaurant Cecconi’s (of no relation to Madonna’s brother), and the Edition Miami Beach, with its Matador Restaurant, bowling alley, and ice-skating rink.
